Every Sea Scout Ship has a different activity focus. The Renegades primarily focus on traditional sailing and racing, but also venture into a variety of marine activities such as swimming, scuba diving, paddle boarding, small boat sailing, ocean navigation and island survival skills.

• Sea Scouting is known not only for learning marine skills, but also for community development and leadership training!

• Our scouts are nationally recognized--have met President Obama--and have won sailing races against people from around the world!

• The Sea Scout program is endorsed by the US Coast Guard as it can be excellent preparation for a Coast Guard or Navy career.
