In addition to racing on our 60 foot program vessel Dare, scouts also have access to a wide variety of smaller boats.

We believe that the best way to learn the nitty gritty of sailing techniques and racing tactics is through small boats, where the focus is on either individual or pairs of scouts. We've sent numerous teams to Koch Cup, an international sailing competition with Sea Scouts competing from around the world. In 2014, Laura Roudebush and Ben Brough took first place!
